Appealing for funding for the Mega Tree Plantation Drive of 1,00,000 Saplings
We request you to support our Mega Tree Plantation Drive, which has been initiated in the month of August 2023 by Sahyog Pratishthan, an NGO under the NSS Unit of Sahyog College, with the help of other NSS units that come under the University of Mumbai. We are seeking sponsorship or funding to make this project a success and create a positive impact on the environment and the community.
The Mega Plantation Drive is an initiative aimed at planting 100,000 trees across various locations in the community. The project will not only help mitigate the effects of climate change but will also provide an opportunity for the community to come together…
As a part of this project, we will be planting a variety of native tree species that are well-suited to the local climate and soil conditions. We will also conduct workshops and awareness programs to educate the community about the benefits of planting trees and the importance of environmental conservation.
To make this project a success, we are seeking your support in the form of sponsorship or funding. The approximate cost of each sapling ranges between Rs. 20/- to Rs. 70/-, and the whole project’s approximate cost amounted to Rs. 85,00,000/- (Rs. Eighty Five Lakhs only). Your support will help us purchase the necessary planting materials, hire staff, and organize the workshops and awareness programs. In return, we offer recognition and benefits for your organization, such as naming rights for the planting site, a plaque or sign acknowledging your contribution, or the opportunity to participate in the planting event.
