Sahyog Pratishthan has organised a Women's Hygiene and Sanitization Awareness Program. Dr. Rekha Tote oversaw the programme, which drew 250 girls and women. Menstruations, menopause, and other girl child health issues were discussed during the session. The session concluded with the distribution of sanitary napkins to everyone in attendance. The primary reason for the organization of this session was Mothers, no matter how educated, are reluctant to communicate menstruation with their adolescent daughters before menarche. Notwithstanding, such education is critical for a girl who will be enduring menstruation. This can be attained with the assistance of teachers and child counsellors at school and in the community.
