INTRODUCTION

Change is the end result of applied Knowledge in life amassed during education. It is a ray of hope and a premise of progress in every society. It shatters myths, uplifts the weak, empowers masses and illuminates the society that is lost in the dungeon of darkness. Sahyog Pratisthan Trust has firmly believed in transformative power of education as a catalyst towards change for creation of an optimistic future. The same belief is clearly reflected in the Mission and Vision of Sahyog Pratisthan and its founder Dr. Mahesh Patil.


TRUST HISTORY:

Dr. Mahesh Baburao Patil, a Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce and Management; was the founder Trustee and President of Sahyog Pratishthan since 2005 and has actively led the structuring and scaling up of the organization. He worked for bridging the gap or disparity in the society through various initiatives on education, healthcare, livelihood and capacity building since last two decades.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To work towards ameliorating the quality of education offered
  2. Advance education with an intention of developing skilled and semi-skilled manpower in promising sectors of Economy
  3. To establish and equip Reading Rooms, Libraries for the members and students of the institution.
  4. To grant scholarships, stipends, or concessions to the eligible and promising students.
  5. To run Medical Colleges and Vocational courses for poor and needy students which the Trust may consider desirable and/or deserving.
  6. Organizing and sponsoring Health Camps for students and Economically weak
  7. To establish, promote, maintain and run Gymkhanas and Swimming pools.
  8. Establish, Acquire, maintain, and support to hospital dispensaries, maternity homes, research centers, laboratories, Blood banks, Diagnostic centers, Museums, Study Centers, Medical Colleges, and schools.
  9. Establish, fund, construct, promote, equip, maintain, support, grant aid, and make donations to hospitals, dispensaries, colleges, old-age homes, Bal-ashrams, etc.
  10. Referral to the primary health Centre for emergencies and cases requiring hospitalization.
  11. Organizing Awareness drives for promotion of knowledge in the area of public health services.
  12. Initiation and supervision of vaccination campaigns
  13. Conducting workshops for awareness on adoption of appropriate preventive measures about communicable diseases.
  14. Organizing nutritional awareness workshops for School kids.
  15. Train paramedical and social health workers associated with rural and tribal family health welfare.
  16. Foraying into different streams of education in the domains of Commerce, Law, Computer Science, Medical and Technical
  17. To assist needy people & patients with medical aid
  18. To spread mass awareness on AIDS and care of AIDS patients.
  19. “Grant of medical help emergencies like epidemic, famine, fire, cyclone, flood, earthquake or any unforeseen natural calamity, war or warlike operations, civil commotion or riots, etc.
  20. Subscription, contribution, and/or donation to any public charitable trusts, funds, or institutions for the promotion of any of the aforesaid objects.
  21. To assist organizations like rehabilitations centers, orphanages, widow homes and differently abled sections, deaddiction centers via endowments.
