On 30th July, 2022, Sahyog Pratishthan’s Sahyog College of Management Studies, Thane successfully completed the first phase of the Tree Plantation under the National Service Scheme at Waghoba Nagar Hill, Kalwa East. Trees are the foremost source of producing oxygen in the environment, they help to reduce the level of CO2. As we all know that the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such a problem planting trees is become one of the most important aspects today.


In this drive, more than 50 NSS Volunteers participated and planted more than 100 saplings. Volunteers planted a sapling that consisted of indigenous forest plants.

On 06th August, 2022, the second phase of the Tree Plantation under the National Service Scheme was completed successfully at Kalwa Railway Car Shed, Kalwa (East).

Volunteers planted more than 25 samplings. These saplings consisted of Biksha, Jamun, Kadam, Palas, Guava, Ritha, Jarun, Bava, Sankeshwari, and Tansan.


On 23rd August, 2022, the third phase of the Tree Plantation under the National Service Scheme was completed successfully at Ghodbunder Road, Thane.

Volunteers planted 20 samplings at Pride Presidency Luxuria and Norita Co-operative Society. These saplings consisted of Biksha, Jamun, Kadam, Palas, Guava, Ritha, Jarun, Bava, Sankeshwari, and Tansan.


The volunteers were happy to be a part of this plantation drive as they connected themselves with nature and understood the responsibility towards Mother Nature.
